This one is a little more strange than the last couple. This is D’Bo from Capcom’s “Jo Jo’s Bizarre Adventure”. I love his stance, and I loved posing my character to fit it. I’d like to do more odd/extreme poses like this. This is the sort of thing that makes animation interesting and fun! :)

I’ve spent 2.5 hours on this one so far.
Capcom’s fighting games have long been some of my favorites and I really admire the character animation in them, so I decided to continue studying their animations. This one is Jin Saotome from Marvel Vs. Capcom, one of my favorites!

I have spent 5 hours on this one so far.
For my character animation class, our instructor broke up a Nutrigrain Commercial and assigned everyone in the class individual shots to animate. I was assigned two shots.
The original commercial is:
My shots are from 1:13-1:18 in the original commercial.
The block outs for my shots are below:
Just got back to animating on Senior Thesis projects. I’ve decided to do some gaming animation. This first one is a 3D version of Spiderman’s idle animation from the Marvel vs. Capcom series.
I used this gif for reference:

and I created this animation:
Bringing the 2D animation into 3D was a lot of fun. I think exaggerating the overlap and the depth of the z space really made it come alive. This animation took me 3.5 hours.
This is a user interface design that I created for an Xbox 360 game I am designing called Cyber Surfers.
Cyber Surfers is about cyberpunk kids fighting a mega-corporation in cyberspace for the freedom of the world wide web. Rebellion is a theme, and middle fingers are a motif.
In the video, you will see the company logos and then a title screen loop. The title screen loop is what would happen when the game shows its title screen but recieves no input from the player to start the game, so it jumps to a different screen to describe or foreshadow the game and then back to the title screen. After the loop happens three times you will see the Main Menu, the Options Menu (System), HUD, and credits.
